A Custom Look For Comedian Heather McMahan
Designing Heather McMahan’s dress was a dream come true for our team; from the first meeting, through all the postponements, to attending the big day in Florence, we enjoyed every second of getting to know Heather (and had a few laughs along the way).

From feathers to beading to pearls, more is more when it comes to Heather, so we knew this one-of-a kind gown needed to be just as special as she is. Basic bride? Absolutely not.

The relationship started with an introduction from a mutual friend and former Watters’ bride, @cammymumu, followed by a cover story for The Knot. We have enjoyed every second of this wild ride, a slight change of plans and an elopement later, we’ve loved everything that’s come with designing Heather’s wedding dress.
When hearing about her welcome party, set to take place along the river in Florence - something from a picture-perfect Italian summer day-dream, we knew Heather needed a special Apreol-inspired look! Her first look of the weekend was the By Watters Meringue, and if we do say so ourselves, she rocked the puff sleeve and deep notched V neckline.
